Performing at RocKIN the Peace was an amazing experience. It''s crazy that it was my first time ever playing live in Fort St. John - you'd think I would have started with an open mic first! I was so impressed with the talent the contestants had to offer, and was able to connect with some great people. I was asked to perform at a Connecting Communities Fundraiser, and really enjoyed it... such a good cause. While there, the Lido asked if I was interested in opening next weekend for Russell DeCarle - the lead singer of the Canadian Band Prairie Oyster - is this even a question? Of course I'll be there...so if you're able come on out - it's going to be an unforgettable show!

The CD Release show at the Spill was such a fun time - a great turnout, and such an amazing venue and people to share it with! Next up? I'm performing for RocKIN the Peace in Fort St.John, BC, on Saturday, March 12th for a chance to win a Grand Prize, and for some new exposure in a town I moved to from Victoria just a few months ago. If you're in the area, come on out to the show!

Recording is almost complete! Just a few more weeks and Jenna's 2nd CD should be fini! Please be sure to email info@jennaloren.com to be added to the mailing list for the CD's release party. It was recently annouced that several of Jenna's songs will be featured on the soundtrack of an upcoming movie, "By The Time You Read This," based on the novel "The King of Hearts" written by Vancouver Island's own Connie Lentz. So be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the movie release over the next year!

Jenna has officially started recording her 2nd CD! She is working with producer and drummer Jason Cook at Infinity Studios (Victoria, B.C.) and hopes to have the CD complete by the end of summer. Email info@jennaloren.com to be added to the mailing list for when the CD comes out and to find out when the CD release show will be!

Jenna’s “Andrew (Teddybear)” song is on the new Feed the Soul ‘A Second Helping’ Vol.2 Compilation CD, a fundraiser CD for the Sidney Lions Food Bank. The CD launch at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney BC, kicking off the Health Fair on May 28th, 2010 was a great success with an audience of over 250 people!
